It doesn’t matter if you’re from one of the largest cities in the world or from a small farming community in rural Alberta, we guarantee that someone you know or see in your day-to-day life loves settling in for a Babylon 5 marathon, debates online who is the better captain, Sisko or Janeway, or has very strong opinions on how the Millennium Falcon would fare against a Federation starship!

In this episode of Positively Trek , hosts Barry and Dan sit down with Chance and Carolyn Gerk, the organizers of the Mile Zero Fan Summit , a convention being held in the small town of Grimshaw, Alberta on June 7th. We discuss what you can expect at the event, the process of putting it together, and the importance of fostering the fan community in smaller centres.
